Meet the speakers taking the stage at the DFW Golf Show this year. This list is updated frequently in the weeks leading up to the show, so check back soon for even more great instructors!

David Brinker

David is the President of Mid-America Golfing Events and 10-time RE/MAX World Long Drive Finalist. David won the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive title (Legends Division) and has won multiple additional U.S. and international long-drive championships. His long drive journey began in 2004 at the Long Drivers of America tour Qualifying School in Dallas. He captured the interest of seasoned long drivers by earning his LDA tour card on his first attempt. He recorded the third-longest drive of that competition with a distance of 399 yards. In addition, David is a regular at the United States Senior Long Drive Championships. David has a flair for bringing excitement and entertainment to both corporate and charitable events. Through his efforts, he has helped raise in excess of $2,000,000 for charitable events during his long-drive tenure.

Katie Harris

Katie Harris joined The First Tee of Greater Dallas in March 2012. She began competitive golf play in high school, which culminated in a state championship for Salado High School in 2006 during her junior year. Katie went on to play college golf for the University of Texas at Tyler. While competing nationally with the golf team, she also received her BA in English Literature and teaching certification for high school classrooms. In the fall of 2016, she completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. She completed requirements to achieve Recognized Program Director status with The First Tee Home Office in the fall of 2017. She hopes to complete her LPGA Certification and achieve her Class A status in 2019.

Gabe Reynolds

Gabe Reynolds has spent his entire life immersed in golf. After twice earning All-State honors at Kingwood High School in Houston, he went on to win four tournaments as a college player at Texas State University. Gabe played seven years of full-time professional golf on both the Adams Golf Tour and the Web.com Tour. His biggest professional highlight came in 2008, with a win in the San Antonio Open. Since 2010, Gabe has worked as a golf professional and instructor, giving lessons to golfers of all skill levels. Gabe’s experience as a player has had a big influence on his philosophy as a teacher. He believes that just as there are many shapes and styles of great golf swings on professional tours, there as as many great ways to teach players of all skill levels.
