David Brinker

David is the President of Mid America Golfing Events, the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive Champion and a 10-time RE/MAX World Long Drive Finalist. His long drive journey began in 2004 at the Long Drivers of America tour Qualifying School in Dallas, Tex. He captured the interest of seasoned long drivers by earning his LDA tour card on his first attempt. David has a flair for bringing excitement and entertainment to both corporate and charitable events. Through his efforts, he has helped raise in excess of $1,500,000 for charitable events in the last eight years.


Katie Harris

Katie Harris joined The First Tee of Greater Dallas in March 2012. She began competitive golf play in high school, which culminated in a state championship for Salado High School in 2006 during her junior year. Katie went on to play college golf for the University of Texas at Tyler. While competing nationally with the golf team, she also received her BA in English Literature and teaching certification for high school classrooms. In the fall of 2016, she completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. She completed requirements to achieve Recognized Program Director status with The First Tee Home Office in the fall of 2017. She hopes to complete her LPGA Certification and achieve her Class A status in 2018.


Gabe Reynolds

Gabe Reynolds has spent his life immersed in golf. After twice earning all-state honors at Kingwood High School in Houston, he went on to win four tournaments as a college player on his way to earning his degree at Texas State University. Gabe played seven years of full-time professional golf on both the Adams Golf Tour and the Tour. His biggest professional highlight came in 2008, with a win in the San Antonio Open. Since 2010, Gabe has worked as a golf professional and instructor giving lessons to golfers of all skill levels. Gabe’s experience as a player has had a big influence on his philosophy as a teacher. He believes that just as there are many shapes and styles of great golf swings on professional tours, there are as many great ways to teach players of all skill levels. As a golf instructor, Gabe has five years of experience working with professional and high level college players as well as with beginners. His passion for the game is contagious, and he looks forward to sharing his experience and knowledge with you.

Kelly Kilgo

Kelly Kilgo is a Senior Director of Membership/Course Rating Services for the Texas Golf Association (TGA). Prior to Kelly working for the TGA, she was the Executive Director for the Women’s Texas Golf Association (WTGA) from 2007 until the two associations merged in 2014. Kelly is currently the manager of Course Rating, and Fun Golf and works with the Individual Membership Rewards/Sales program for the TGA. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and currently resides in the DFW area. Adrian Kelley

Adrian Kelley is the center manager and certified personal coach at GOLFTEC Montgomery Plaza. Adrian has taught over 2,000 golf lessons with GolfTEC and has over 15 years of playing and teaching experience in the golf industry. Adrian currently competes on the Fairway Golf Tour & in NTPGA Section Events.

John Wagner

John Wagner is the center manager and director of instruction at GOLFTEC North Dallas. A Titleist Performance Institute-certified Level 3 Golf Instructor and U.S. Kids Certified Instructor, John has worked with two of the top-5 instructors in the world. John played college golf at SMU, and won one event on the Gateway Professional Tour. A five-time recipient of the award for Outstanding Achievement in Instruction, come find out what John can do for your game!

Chad Powell

Chad Powell has taught over 8,000 lessons, including over 6,000 at GOLFTEC as well as hundreds of junior lessons for The First Tee. An all-district golfer and regional qualifier all four years at Temple High School, Chad played two years at Temple Junior College, and competed in the Texas State Open Qualifier in 2011 as well as numerous NTPGA Section events. Bring your questions about your golf swing to Chad, and he’ll give you the answers!

Dr. Michael VanPelt

An assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a go-to consultant for the UT Southwestern Sports Medicine Program, Dr. VanPelt is a podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon specializing in injuries to the foot and ankle – especially athletic injuries. He is board certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive ankle surgery, and he completed a podiatric sports medicine fellowship at Barry University in Miami, Florida. There he served as the podiatrist for the Miami Heat and the University of Miami men’s and women’s basketball team, and as team physician for Barry University athletics. Come to the main stage to hear from Dr. VanPelt how you can fix the injuries holding back your golf game this year!
